Traditions of Harvesting: Cutting the Corn

This movie shows the Corn being cut, rolled into bundles which are then passed out from the side of the corn cutter. This is one of many projects we undertake at the Weald and Downland Museum, West Sussex, to demonstrate the traditions of thatching, from growing and harvesting wheat, to thatching a historic building.
